Participating Facilities The first three cohorts of PERT Classes were open to nurses and nursing assistants working in nursing homes throughout western Washington. The PERT Program staff  contacted the administrators and directors of nursing homes throughout the region to offer the program to their nursing staff.Those facilities that chose to participate were divided into groups, or cohorts, so as to best accomodate participants from various regions of western Washington. The classes were scheduled for different locations and different times of the year for each cohort. The lists that follow include those facilities at which participants from the first three cohorts were employed.
